Dear Arham, PWD is not a vertical reservation. It is a horizontal reservation within your Category. For example, if you belong to General Category, with your PH reservation, you can claim PWD quota in General Category. With 50% locomotor disability, you are eligible for PWD reservation. To avail this reservation, you should walk into any of Disability Assessment centres across India and get yourself assessed. The doctors there will assess you and accordingly give you a PWD certificate. Only that certificate is valid for you to clain PWD quota. As of last year there were approximately 6-10 Disability Assessment Centres. Please waiti for NTA's official notification to be released so that you can have the list of Disability Assessment Centres, And you can get yourself assessed.
