To get job in bpo is an easy task event after 12th standard. As you mentioned that you are a mechanical diploma holder candidate so, you also can join BPO job. You have to go for some job related sites like naukri.com, indeed.com and other .Update your skill and qualification there and apply for BPO jobs directly. In few days some consultant will hire you after taking  on call basic interview wit you .

You must have good communication skills as you are the one who's gonna interact with the customers either to solve there queries or to sell them a specific product.

Good command over English language will be beneficial to you in terms of salary package. Don't worry even if you are not much comfortable with English as there are lots of Domestic BPOs in which they require regional language speakers like.
