Hello Aspirant,
See for JEE-Advance a candidate can appear for maximum of 2 consecutive years means he/she is eligible for maximum of two consecutive years that include the passing year of class 12th as well. So, suppose you passed your class 12th in 2020 than you will be eligible for only JEE-Advance 2020 and 2021, provided that you qualify JEE-main as well. Now if you did not appear any of the eligible attempt then also your attempt would be considered and one year will be deducted from your eligible attempts.
So if you are passed out of 2021 then you can re-appear for JEE-Advance 2022 if you qualify JEE-Main 2022.

Jee advanced will be open to only those who qualify JEE main and are in subsequent year of 12 th pass. If you appeared for class12 in 2021 and attempt JEE main in 2021 only then you are eligible for jee advanced. You will be required to register for jee advanced when applications are open. Nearly 1 lakh people from general category can appear for this exam every year.
