Sir , i got 45 mark in english in class 12 if i clear neet with good score can i get a medical seat im very tensed because i have above 50 percent marks in pcb but in english i don't have 50 marks.please answer this question.
Hello Akash,
Don't worry! For NEET eligibility , what's most important is your score in the PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) subjects. Since you have above 50% marks in PCB , you're eligible to appear for NEET and qualify for a medical seat, provided you score well in the exam.
The English score is not a determining factor for NEET eligibility or medical admission. As long as you've cleared your 12th grade and meet the required percentage in PCB , you’re good to go. Just focus on doing your best in NEET!
I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.
Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.
Yes, you can still get a medical seat with a good NEET score even if you have a lower score in English.
The NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) primarily assesses your knowledge of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. While English is also evaluated, it typically carries less weightage compared to the science subjects. A strong performance in the science subjects can significantly boost your overall NEET score and increase your chances of securing a medical seat.
Here are some key points to remember:
- NEET Score: Your NEET score is the most crucial factor in determining your eligibility for medical admission. A high NEET score can compensate for a lower English score.
- State Quota: Some states may have specific criteria or reservations for candidates with lower English scores, especially if you belong to a particular category (SC, ST, OBC, etc.).
- Counseling: During the counseling process, your preference for medical colleges and your overall NEET rank will be considered.
To improve your chances of securing a medical seat:
- Focus on NEET Preparation: Devote more time to studying Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
- Practice Regularly: Solve previous year question papers and mock tests to improve your problem-solving skills.
- Time Management: Learn effective time management techniques to maximize your study time.
- Stay Positive: Believe in yourself and maintain a positive attitude throughout the preparation process.
Hello Aakash
Before applying for NEET, it is very important for the candidates to know some educational requirements. Firstly, students who have passed the 12th exam are eligible for NEET. The candidates must have studied physics, chemistry, biology and English in 12th and they must get passing marks in every subject.
The fundamental qualifying exam which is held for NEET is of class 12 but the qualifying marks are dependent on the candidate category like for
general and for EWS
50% marks are compulsory.
OBC or SC or ST
category 40% mark is compulsory and for
person with disabilities
40% mark is compulsory.
Getting marks in any
specific
subject is not compulsory.
Overall percentage
is 50% marks.
So there is no need to take tension, if you have 50% marks overall then you are eligible, you can prepare for NEET and If you score good you'll definitely got a seat.
All the best!!
Yes,you are eligible for NEET as the eligibility criteria is you must have scored at least 50% (40% for SC, ST, OBC categories) in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in your 12th board exams which you have.
And the second one is in English Language You must have passed English as a compulsory subject in your 12th board exams which doesn't required any percent so if you have less than this but passed you are eligible to get good college through nee.
Hope answer is well understood by you. .
Dear Akash,
First of all, the 12th marks that are required for admission in the medical college are the aggerate of PCB subjects which also differ from category-to-category General – 50%, OBC/SC/ST – 40%, and PWD – 45%. Other than this you have passed your 12th no matter what marks you got in 12th. For sure you get in medical collage at good score. Rather than you can ask and contact as for further queries regarding your preparation.
Thanks
Hello,
Don't panic! As an eligibility criterion for appearing at NEET, you have to score more than 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) for the General Category students. For the other reserved categories are SC/ST/OBC, it is 40%. Since you score more than 50% in PCB, you are eligible for NEET and can appear for the entrance test.
NEET does not fix any minimum score in English; it only fixes it for PCB subjects. However, some medical colleges demand proficiency tests in English, but that is not something which would factor in NEET admissions much.
If you clear NEET with good marks then it will be mainly dependent on your PCB marks and your performance in NEET, not on the score of English. Hence, focus on performing well in NEET; do not let this stop you-you should undoubtedly be eligible for medical seats if your overall profile matches the admission criteria of the college.
