Panjab University follows the eligibility criteria for Law course admissions as specified by the Bar Council of India in 2010, Candidate should have passed 10+2 examination with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of SC/ST/BC/PWD) from any recognized Board/University. However, the candidates qualifying 10+2 through Open Universities system directly without having any basic qualification for prosecuting such studies are not eligible for admission in the law courses.
Aspirants are further informed that if they are taking their 10+2 examination in March 2019 then they will be offered admission on a provisional basis. If they fail to pass or have to reappear or even if they do not secure the required percentage of marks in the qualifying examination, then their admission will stand cancelled.
The official website informs: "The applicants who have obtained 10+2 through Open Universities system directly without having any basic qualification for prosecuting such studies are not eligible for admission in the law courses. As per proviso and explanation to Rule 5 (b) of Bar Council of India Rules of Legal Education, 2008".
ALL THE BEST !
According to your %age there are nearly no chances as per me. Because for admission anywhere.. they require minimum 50% total aggregate of all the subjects. Yours is 49.11 is quite less. Well, you can apply in any private/deemed University if they accept.
Hope this helps.!
Good Luck !
