As per the seat matrix released by the state government in 2018, only 12 of the 100 seats in the college were available for open category students - rest all are reserved.Out of 12 open seats - The first student to pick CMC was Raj Chendur Abhishek with a NEET score of 656. The last student to get admission in CMC under open category was Nanditha Vinodh S, who had a NEET score of 595.

So if this year, the same trend continues, it is going to be difficult to get admission with 505 marks.
