Hi Aspirant,
So, as per the information provided by you , that your percentile is 54 and you belong to SC category. It would be helpful if you could provide your rank also.
See, at present it is very difficult to predict whether you will get any NITs/GFTIs with this rank since the counselling as not yet started and the Round 1 results are not yet out.
Now, as per previous trends it seems not possible for you to get Into Any NITs since they offer a very higher cutoffs which usually hangs around 400-500(Max 900 for HS Students in SC Category). Which is around 70-75 Percentile minimum.
With your Rank you can check out the cutoffs of various NITs from this link below

Good Luck !
With your percentile in JEE Mains, your rank would be more than 400000 in the common rank list. Even your SC category rank would be more han 45000. With such a huge rank, it would not be possible for you to get a seat in any government engineering colleges like NITs IIITs and GFTIs.
You can instead go for some top private engineering colleges in India which conduct their own entrance exams which are very easy as compared to JEE Mains. Some of the colleges are
- Sharda University Greater Noida
- Amity University Noida
- LPU Jalandhar
- Chandigarh University
- MIT Manipal

hope it helps you
Your chances of getting some north eastern Nit like Sikkim, Nagaland,Manipur ,Mizoram can be there but you have to wait till spot round of counseling.
Apply for Jossa counseling and then for Csab counseling which takes place after Jossa counseling and also apply for other states government and private colleges which takes admission through Jee mains marks.

All the best.
Hope this will help you.
You will not be getting any government college whether NIT or IIIT or GFTI. I suggest you should either prepare again for the JEE 2021, or take admission in some private colleges.
