Sir i got 58% in class 12 form WB board can i direct admitted in nit patna

the eligibility criteria states that a candidate must have Minimum 75 percent aggregate marks in class 12th from any board or be in the top 20 percenile to qualify for any NITs or IITs, under general category.



However, this criteria is relaxed to 65 percwnt for SC/ST/PWD category.



One must not be more than 24 years of age or should be born after 1st October, 1993.



For all NITs , you simply require only JEE Mains, whereas for IITs you shall require both viz. JEE mains and Advanced.



Since, you have less than 75 percent marks, you're not eligible for NITs.



If you dont qualify for above books criteria, youcan give improvement exam in any one or more than one subjects such that your overall score sha then becomes more than 75 percent as aggregate to make you qualified for NITs.

You will be given maximum two chances for improvement exams.
