You should go to try for IIT, COMEDK ,BITS PILANI OR VIT because there is least chance for getting in the worse NIT with the branch they give as there is only 45000 seats in both NIT AND IIT COMBINED.if 15000 people leave for other college then you will get a chance .Do not expect much.
