sir i got 62874 rank.in neet 2019...is there any chances to get government medical colleges for mbbs....
NEET 2024: Cutoff (OBC, SC, ST & General Category)
NEET 2024 Admission Guidance: Personalised | Study Abroad
NEET 2025: Syllabus | Most Scoring concepts | NEET PYQ's (2015-24)
The possibility of getting the govt. medical college is based on the cutoff marks which vary according to the college and courses. The general marks range for getting the govt. college is 500+. So if your marks are above 500 then you have the chances of getting the govt. college. Seeing your rank it seems imposiible for you to get the govt. medical college as the rank is far away from the qualifying range. And also with 62874 rank it is almost impossible to get the govt. college so try for the private institutes.
You have not mentioned your category anywhere,so i assume it to be general.
If I consider the previous year data.then your chances of getting admission in a government medical college are negligible.if you are from a reserved category then case would be different.
The cutoff changes almost every year,so not much can be predicted .cutoff depends on the difficulty level of the paper and the number of students who appeared for the entrance exam.
Just hope for the best
