Yeah definitely you are eligible to write the JEE MAINS examination since writing the JEE doesn't require any eligibility only the eligibility is for entering into the elite institutes like IIT and NIT'S i.e in Class 12th it should be atleast 75% from any Central / State board.
All the best
Hii
Firstly. I would to tell you that for being eligible for JEE Mains, you just need to qualify 12th Class. So, you are eligible for JEE Mains.
Secondly, after clearing JEE Mains & at the time of admissions to NITs/IIITs/GFITs-
- You need to have secured minimum 75% marks in class XII or equivalent exam or be in the top 20 percentile in their class XII exam conducted by the respective board.
- For SC/ ST candidates, the eligibility criteria is to secure 65% marks in class XII or equivalent exam.
So, you need 75%(General) & 65%(Unreserved) in 12th for getting admission in NITs/IIITs/GFITs.
All the best.
However for private engineering colleges under Jee Main you can have any score above 60% aggregate and hence you can appear for Jee Mains for sure and also apply to all private engineering colleges unser Jee Main.
