sir I got 88% in puc and 59%in kcet. Can I get free seat in top 10 engineering colleges please answer my question
Hello learner,
If you're looking for Engineering colleges in Karnataka, then your KCET score will comes as big picture. If you're a candidate representing General Category, your score should be above 50%. If you're a representative of SC/ST/OBC your cut off should be above 40%. Accordingly, your ranklist will be announced. Since you've scored 59%, you're probably on the safer side. There is a good chance to get placed in one of the top colleges.
In contrast, if you're aiming to pursue Engineering in one of the elite colleges in Tamil Nadu, it is mandatory to apply for TNEA .Other state candidates are eligible for admission to 50 seats that are offered by various departments of Anna University, Chennai, through TNEA. Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions conducts counselling via online, for the pupils, who wish to build their career in engineering. The cut off marks is calculated by PCM aggregate. The counselling takes place through, consecutive rounds, on fixing the marginal marks for each round. Correspondingly, you'll get your turn.
Aim and Plan respectively. It is your intelligent decision to choose your place and therefore your college.
Good Luck!
