I think your question is, you mean to say, you wanted to upgrade to the computer science branch.
there are 2 ways remaining to upgrade to CSE ,
1] CSAB ROUND - YOU will have to take part in this round and you might get the computer science branch
2] After 1st year , if you scored a good / best GPA in your college, and if and only if there is a vacant seat in CSE, you can apply your request to upgrade it.
the priority will be given to the person with a better GPA
WHAT IS GPA?
GPA is like percentile out of 10
YOU NEED TO GET A MIN OF 9/10 TO UPGRADE
Hello,
No i think you can't apply for the JOSAA CSAB special round.
First you have to withdraw your seat from the last round of josaa, then you can apply for the special round.
I will suggest you not to participate in the CSAB round as if your alloted seat goes away then what will you do?
It's better to take your seat in ECE branch.
All the Best!
Hi Sandeep,
Yes you definitely can participate in the CSAB for an upgrade in the seat in case you don't get your desired seat. There is nothing sort of disadvantage in it if you are sure that you want to take admission through JEE Mains as you will be asked to submit additional 35000 to participate in the CSAB round and this extra will be then adjusted in your college fee accordingly. Just make sure you fill your choices carefully, don't mess it up. You will atleast have the existing seat in your hand so don't worry.
Good Luck !!
