With this rank Chances are less for top 5 IIT's ( Bombay, Delhi, Kanpur, Kgp, Madras). LAt Year Rank upto 600 were called for the Interview in IITD but you can understand the procedure of interviews.

You can try IIT G or IIT Roorkee as you can get Power system into these. Last to last year the closing rank was 400 for IIt Kanpur for Power system.
