Hello Roshini, You can choose the float option if you want to participate in the further rounds. In this case, if you get a better course in the next round, the first round seat will be released and allocated to someone else. But if you fail to get a better college in the next round, then you can choose to take admission in the previously allocated course in the 1st round.

Applications for Admissions are open.

Hi Roshini,

KCET counselling procedure has 4 choices after each round of seat allottment. If you want to retain the seat and still want to sit in further rounds of the counselling for any improvement in the allotment, you should choose Option 2 which is basically float. Option one is freeze which you don't want and if you take option 3 you'll still be allowed to sit in further rounds but you'll loose this seat. So the choice is yours.

Good Luck !!
