Hello Archi,

As you must be knowing that Delhi University demands the percentage of best four, including one language subject, aggregate of three major subjects are taken into consideration for subjects like b.sc and b.tech that should include physics, chemistry, maths/ biology. If you don't have either maths or bio, you will have to face a deduction of about 2.5 % of your total percentage.

Hope that helps!:)

Eligibility for biotechnology is Pass in 10+2, A Level, IB, American 12th grade or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and English with Biology/Biotechnology/Mathematics subject and a minimum of 55% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and any one of the optional subjects .

I will provide you with a link for this for b.tech in DU

Hey Archi,

It is not compulsory to take mathematics for taking biotechnology branch. You can take admission in Biotechnology by showing your marks in PCM or PCB of class 12th. Hope you find it useful. Best of luck for your future.

Thank you.
