Sir, i have completed my BE in Bio-Informatics, Savitha Institue, Chennai. Am i eligible for MTech - Computer Science through GATE, i will have to chose Biotechnology paper in GATE entrance exam, after securing a good rank in GATE exam, am i eligible to take Mtech in Computer science? please help

Hello Aspirant,
Yes, you are definitely eligible for M.Tech in CSE even after having done your B.Tech in Bio-Informatics. Although it might be challenging but with hard work and proper strategy it can definitely be done.
Now, in order to pursue your M.Tech in CSE, you need to write your GATE paper in CSE and NOT Biotechnology. After that, the competition is similar to that of any CSE aspirant only that you need to cover the entire 4-year CSE B.Tech syllabus for GATE.
