Dear Aspirant,

Let's see your options after B.Com (//B.Com) . and LLB.

B.Com (//B.COm) .

1. Chartered Accountant or Company Secretary: These are considered the most rewarding career options for commerce students. These are fields which are difficult to attain keeping in mind the competition and the structure of the course, but once they are pursued, they have high demand today. Chartered accountants are required in various places like Banking (Private & Government), Public Limited Companies, Auditing Firms, Finance Companies, Legal Firms, Mutual Funds, broking Firms, Patent Firms, Investment Houses, Copyright Registers etc.

2. Lecturer or Professor: After your B.Com (//B.Com) ., you can pursue your Masters degree and apply for NET exam. This is conducted to check your eligibility as a Junior Research fellow or Assistant Professor. It is an opportunity at a decent salary and growing your knowledge in the filed.

3. Banker: The steps are simple- complete and internship and an investment banking program for a license. For better opportunities, pursue an MBA. A banker should have good communication skills, love to help people, good in sales marketing knowledge, multi-tasking proficiency.

4. Government Job: They are the best in terms of job security. They have fixed hours of working and a fixed pay and there are many perks which come with it. So you can apply for government job exams like Civil Services Exams (IAS, IES, IPS), SSC CGL, Railway RRB Exams, Banking Exams (IBPS PO, IBPS Clerk, SBI PO, RBI etc.).

5. Chief Accountant or Auditor: Pursue Institute of Cost & Works Accountants of India (ICWAI) course and after that you can pursue M.Phil. or PhD or join as a Financial Controller, Cost Controller, Chief Internal Auditor and Chief Accountant etc.

LLB

Here are the Job Profiles which a LLB graduate can pursue:

Interested candidates can also pursue higher studies after the completion of LL.B. The master’s degree offered after LL.B. is LL.M.

Before practicing in any court of India, LL.B. graduates have to obtain the certificate of practice in law. It can be obtained by giving the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) regulated and supervised by the Bar Council of India.

Lawyers can find employment in both public and private sector organizations. Central and state government jobs are also available for lawyers. Lawyers can also work as legal advisor and legal counsellor for firms, organizations and families.

Hope this helps. All the best!
