sir i have ews certificate for year 2021-2022 for filling gate 2022 form. What if i am not able to produce ews for financial year 2022-2023 for mtech admission for next year can i apply as general for mtech admissions.

If you will apply in GATE examination as a EWS candidate and if you fail to provide updated ews certificate then you will be considered as a General Category candidate. So, if you are unsure whether you will be able to get you ews certificate updated or not then better apply as General candidate.
One more thing i would like to add is that updating/renewing ews certificate is not very hard task. Follow the simple steps below and you will be able to get it done.

- Get Aadhar card as Id Proof
- Affidavit/Self Declaration
- Land/property documents
- Residential proof/Domicile Certificate
- Passport-sized photograph
