Hi
You will be eligible for JEE mains 2022 irrespective of the percentage of obtained by you in your 12th board examination 2021 provided you at least get the passing marks in board exam.
This is because,
There is no minimum percentage requirement in 12th board examination to be eligible for JEE main.
For reference,
Eligibility criteria is given below of jee main :-
-) Qualification required :- to be eligible for JEE mains for BE or Btech you need 10+2/equivalent qualification with Physics, mathematics as compulsory subject along with anyone of Chemistry or Biology or Biotechnology or Technical Vocational Subject.
-) Passing year :- one is eligible for JEE main examination for consecutive three years starting from the year of appearing for 12th /equivalent examination i. e to be eligible for JEE mains 2021 you should be either appearing for 12th board exam or equivalent in 2021 or should have passed it in 2020 or 2019
-) There is no age limit to be eligible
-) there is no minimum percentage requirement to be eligible for JEE Mains, you just need to have passed your 12th
But yes,
To be eligible for NITs, IIITs, GFTIs one needs at least 75% marks in class 12th if belongs to General or OBC category or at least 65% marks in class 12th if belongs to Sc or St category.
For this year i. e 2021 this minimum percentage requirement of 75% - 65 % has been lifted off. But next year i. e in 2022 , this criteria will be there , so if you don't fulfill the minimum percentage requirement of 75 % - 65% as per your category then you won't be eligible for NITs, IIITs, GFTIs in 2022. But don't worry if you get less marks in your board examination this year then you can appear for improvement examination to meet this percentage requirement to be eligible for NITs etc.
