Yes, you have more chances to get a seat in government BDS colleges in Gujarat for your marks for your category. Because to get a seat in government dental colleges, you will require 97 to 155 marks based on the previous year cut off marks.

With a score of 149, it becomes difficult to secure a seat in the government dental colleges when comparing the results of previous years. Last year, a score of minimum 222 was required to fetch one a seat in the Siddhpur dental college and hospital in SC category under the state quota. But, one thing to keep in mind is that scores and ranks vary each year with difficulty level of the question paper and availability of seats and state quotas.
