With help of this percentile ranking will be 97,495 as per our rank predictor formula.
Our rank predictor formula = ((100 - your percentile)/100)*Total number of candidate.
Total number of candidate which appear in Jan Jee = 850000.
Your rank range from 95000 - 100000 .
With this rank you can get lower NIT or North east NIT in lower branches. No Chances in IIITs as IIITs have generally CS,IT and ECE branches.
You can get GFTIs,CFTIs with your rank .
You are just on a border area with little bit increase in your percentile helps you to fetch seat in NIT with help of home state quota.

Hello sir
Well, it's very difficult as of now,to predict the cutoff for colleges of JEE mains and for jee advance based on percentile. You can first calculate your rank by rank=(100-percentile)*874469/100.With this rank, you can compare previous year's cutoff for different colleges and can predict some of the colleges you may be getting and also the advance cut off.But remember this is not the final rank.It will change based on the april session of mains. To further predict colleges visit https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor .Hope this helps.
Good Luck
HEY SANKALP
YOUR PERCENTILE IS NOT THAT BAD AND ON YOUR JANUARY ATTEMPT YOU CAN'T DECIDE ABOUT THE IIT. AND EVEN YOU CAN GET THE ADVANTAGE OF BEING IN MAHARASHTRA. YOUR ONE MORE APRIL SESSION IS LEFT RIGHT NOW SO YOU SHOULD TRY TO SCORE MORE PERCENTILE SO THAT YOU CAN USE IT BECAUSE IN YOUR TWO SESSION WHICHEVER PERCENTILE WILL BE BEST WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR COUNSELLING. SO WITHOUT LOSING HOPE. WORK HARD FOR YOUR APRIL SESSION.
.
It is difficult to get nits/ IIIt's. There are some chances to get gftis as per previous years trends.
Use this formula to predict the rank:
- Rank Formula = (100 - your total score) X 874469 /100.
- Your expected rank is 100301 by your percentile score.
if you want to compare with previous years cutoff of Nits/IIIt's/gftis.you can go through the below link:

- Better to give attempt to April jEE mains exam to improve your percentile score. If you get below 15000 rank you will definitely get top Nit Colleges.
Thank you!!!
Hello Sankalp.
With 88.53 your probable general rank shall be around 1,22,306-1,42,306 and your category rank shall be around 37,311-47,311.
Your chances to get into IIITs or NITs is quite less. However, you should definitely try for GFTIs as according to the previous cut offs, you do have a chance there.
Hope this helps!
