sir i have got 97.03 percentile in jee main paper 2. i am general caste and i live in tamil Nadu. what will be my expected rank and do i have a chance to get into any of the NIT's.

Hello,

Your expected overall rank will be around 3346. You can calculate it by the formula (100-your total percentile)*112679/100

112679 is the total number of candidates appeared in JEE Main Paper 2 in January session. Considering 2019 cut you may get seat in

  • NIT, Hamirpur: 3599
  • NIT, Raipur: 3886

However, cut off may increase or decrease depending on number of candidates appeared, difficulty of exam, number of seats available etc.
