Hi

Your best out of the two performances will be considered , so 97.65 percentile will be considered .

With 97. 65 percentile

Your ews rank will be around 3000.

With above rank, yes you have  chances in NITs etc . For example,  you have chances in

  • NIT Durgapur :- civil engineering

  • MANIT Bhopal :- mechanical engineering

  • NIT Goa :- Electrical and Electronics Engineering

  • MNIT Jaipur :- mechanical engineering

And a few more

For previous year cut offs of top colleges like NITs, IIITs, GFTIs , you can refer our page at :-

NITs :- https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/nits-cutoff-for-top-btech-branches

IIITs:- https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff-for-top-iiits

GFTIs :- https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff-for-top-gftis

Or alternately you can visit official website of josaa at

https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

Above prediction of colleges is on the basis of past year data but  cut off/closing rank for colleges keeps changing every year depending upon many factors like number of students that appeared in the examination, difficulty level of the JEE main question paper for different shifts etc so

To have a personalised report on your chances of getting a college you can go through our college predictor, it will give you complete list of colleges which you can get on the basis of the category you belong to,  your home state, your gender etc, the link for  jee main college predictor is provided below

hello aspirant,

97.65 percentile would fetch you a rank around 24040-27025.As of now its tough to say because the analysis and also cutoffs change every year due to many factors like total students appearing for exam, difficulty level of paper etc, based on your rank you have  fair chances to fetch seat in nits, iiits. you can get in nit durgapur, nit bhopal, nit agartala, nit meghalaya, nit patna, nit puducherry, nit sikkim, nit manipur .this analysis is based on last year cutoffs for round 6.you can get closing rank for josaa official website: https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

.for more information to get a personalised report on what all chances you have for your rank refer to: https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

hope this helps,

thankyou.

Hello,

Since 97.65 percentile is the highest score we consider the percentile score scored in JEE Main March session. The overall expected rank will be in between 24040 - 27025. You can also check the predicted rank using our JEE Main rank predictor tool

As you have not mentioned your category we assume that you belong to general category. Considering the previous year cut off you have chances of getting seat in

  • Dr. B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar: Chemical Engineering- 34825
  • Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology Bhopal: Materials Science and Metallurgical Engineering- 41286
  • National Institute of Technology Durgapur: Mechanical Engineering-25161
  • National Institute of Technology Raipur: Mining Engineering-48959

This was cut off in 2020 JoSAA round 6 for general category (other state). Cut off tends to change depending on number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and number of seats available etc.
