Sir I have scored 250 and i am obc so do i have chance of getting seat under esi quota
Hi Sowmikasekar,
ESI quota or Employee State Insurance Quota is meant for wards of people who are insured with ESIC. Students of this quota are required to pay only 24,000 rupees per annum tuition fee.
I am not sure if that score is sufficient to secure a MBBS seat in a govgernment college. I would try to get admission for BDS/MBBS private college. If you can afford to drop a year and retake the NEET exam, then I would recommend you to do that if you really want to go into medical field.
The following colleges contain ESIC quota:
- Faridabad, Haryana (35 seats)
- Joka, Kolkata, West Bengal (52 seats)
- K.K. Nagar, Chennai, Tamil Nadu (20 seats)
- Govt. Medical College, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu (20 seats)
- Govt. Medical College, Kollam (Paripally), Kerala (35 seats)
- Rajaji Nagar, Bengaluru, Karnataka (45 seats)
- Gulbarga, Karnataka (45 seats)
- Sanath Nagar, Hyderabad (50 seats)
- SLBS Medical College, Nerchowk, Mandi, Himachal Pradesh (35 seats)
Hope this helps !
All the best !
:)
