You have not mentioned which category you belong to. With a score of 295 in Tamilnadu, you have chances of procuring a seat in the government medical colleges only if your category is SC or St, when comparing the results of previous years. Last year, a minimum score of 250 or above was required to fetch a seat in the reserved categories. But, one thing to keep in mind is that scores and ranks vary each year with difficulty level of the question paper and availability of seats.
