Sir I have scored 70 56 and 69 in 10th 12th and graduation respectively. How many call I can get if I score 99+ and chances of convert them
IIM AHMEDABAD:
10th Rating:
Percent score Rating Score
<= 55 1
> 55 and <= 60 2
> 60 and <= 70 3
> 70 and <= 80 5
> 80 and <= 90 8
> 90 10
The same rating score is used for 12th Science /Commerce Streams. For Arts/Humanities:
Percent score Rating Score
<= 45 1
> 45 and <= 50 2
> 50 and <= 60 3
> 60 and <= 70 5
> 70 and <= 85 8
> 85 10
Work Exp. in Months as on July 2019 Rating Score

> 36 months 5
Minimum cut offs for Average percent of marks scores:
Stream in 12th UR NC- OBC/Trans SC ST PWD PWD -ST
Science 80 75 70 65 70 65
Commerce 77 72 67 62 67 62
Arts & Humanities 75 70 64 59 64 59
From each Academic sectors top 5% from each stream and each Category will be short listed. After shortlisting the Candidates, the selected Candidates will have to go through WAT and PI rounds. Selection at this stage will strictly be based on the shortlisting of the candidates done separately for each Category on the basis of their Final Composite Score. The numbers selected in different reservation categories will be in proportions mandated by the law. After the AWT & PI round, admission offers are made by IIMA to successful candidates. The final selection is based on a diverse set of attributes which includes performance in CAT, performance in AWT & PI, academic, co-curricular and extra-curricular achievements, work experience, etc.
IIM BANGALORE:
For all the Candidates shortlisted, the 10th and 12th board results are initially adjusted by dividing each such score by 90th percentile score of that board. And then an adjusted score is calculated for the Bachelor's degree for each of the candidates based on the final scores obtained by the candidate are used for the Bachelor's degree and professional degrees. For example,
CAT = 40
10th board = 20
12th board = 10
Bachelors = 20
Gender Diversity = 2
Work Experience = 8
The 40 points for CAT are derived from the performance in each of the three sections as follows:
Verbal & Reading Comprehension - 14 points
Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning - 16 points Quantitative Aptitude - 10 points.
IIM CALCUTTA:
The final selection is based on:
CAT 2019 Score 30
Personal Interview 48
Written Ability Test 10
Academic Diversity 04
Work Experience 08
Total 100
FMS DELHI:
QA: 30%
DILR: 30%
VARC: 40%
An additional 3 marks are added to the Composite score in case of women for shortlisting. This score is used only for shortlisting Candidates for Personal Interview. The weightage for Final selection is as follows:
Personal Interview: 15%
CAT score: 60%
Group Discussion: 10%
Extempore: 5%
10th marks: 5%
12th marks: 5%
An additional 3 marks of the maximum aggregate will be added to the women candidates who have attended the Interview. Now with all this process, the cut offs is an important issue to be discussed. Previously FMS used to consider overall CAT score for shortlisting. However since the past 2 years, FMS has been giving sectional preference and weightage. VARC occupies the top position with 40% weightage. A Candidate with at least 97 sectional weightage will be shortlisted at FMS.
So how should your score board look like???
FMS, Delhi needs 97 percentile.
IIM Shillong: 92 percentile
NITIE Mumbai: 91 percentile
IIM Bangalore, IIM Calcutta, IIM Lucknow, IIM Indore, IIM Kozhikode, IIM Tiruchirapalli, MDI Gurgaon, IIM Udaipur, IIM Rohtak, IIM Ranchi, IIM Kashipur, IIM Raipur, IMT Ghaziabad, IMI New Delhi, XIM Bhubaneshwar and New IIMS need 90 percentile
Now few IIMS have sectional weightage in CAT score and this is how it should like for you for a call from any IIM:
QA DLR VARC Overall
General 80 80 80 90
NC-OBC 70 70 70 80
SC 55 55 55 60
ST 45 45 45 50
PwD 45 45 45 50
As per the information provided by you, your marks just are average in 10th, 12th and Graduation, therefore your chances of getting a call based on profile is quite low.. But in case if you manage to score a percentile above 99 in CAT, then your chances of getting calls from top b-shool goes up.. Also since you do not have any work experience and now most of the colleges are considering work ex also, that'll act as a negative factor for you.. But still i can say that you can get calls from most of the top-bschool except old IIMs. And the point of converting the calls totally depends on the student how well he / she is able to tackle the gdpi and wat rounds..
All the best
