There is no minimum aggregate that is required for qualifying for JEE Mains. But yes, if you want admission to NITs, IIITs, GFTIs through JEE Mains or IITs through JEE Advanced, you need to secure a minimum aggregate of 75% in your boards. It is 75% for General Category and 65% for SC/ST/PWD. This is again for whole of your 12th and not confined to Mathematics/Physics/Chemistry. If you fulfil this criteria, then the top 20 percentile is still ok because according to the article https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-advanced-eligibility-criteria . you should meet any one of the criteria. You are eligible with your aggregate.
This free eBook covers JEE Main important chapters & topics to study just 40% of the syllabus and score up to 100% marks in the examination.
