According to the previous year cut off of JOSAA and CSAB counselling.... you should opt for EWS category because comparatively general category ranks are bit higher than EWS....
For JoSAA your category rank will be considered while for CSAB your CRL rank will be considered. There are limited seats for a particular category in any branch.
