Dear Aspirant,
You have secured an extremely high rank in KCET for engineering. At such a high rank, there is no way that you can get admission in any of the good Institutes of the state including all the government institutes of the state of Karnataka. It is so because the number of seats in such Institutes are extremely limited and the number of applicants is quite huge. Infact the number of seats are so limited that it pales in comparison to the number of applications. The only way perhaps you can get admission in a government engineering college is if you have an ST or SC Reservation and also a very good quota rank to back your contention.
At this point of time, you should look for some good private institutes of the state that offer admission to students of your rank. Before joining any of the private institutes of the state, you need to compare them against each other to know by yourself which is the better college for you to pursue graduation. In order to compare colleges, all you need to do is to just click on this URL:-

This is a great comparison tool and shall be able to answer your queries in relevant aspects related to college admission. It compares colleges based on their merits and demerits and focusses on key parameters like placement prospects, scope for research or higher education, fee structure, infrastructure, qualified professors, skill oriented education, value based internships, exposure to industry, etc.
Good luck in finding a good college for pursuing graduation in engineering.
