Sir, i have studied in karnataka from 1std till 12th cbse. Am i not eligible to apply in Govt colleges in Karnataka for Mbbs ? i am from General category, mother tongue is not kannada.., Pls answer. Confused about Govt and private seats

Hello aspirant,

The domicile certificate is of the State from which you passed your 12th Boards. Since it was Karnataka, you will be able to avail the State quota seats (85% reservation) for the state of Karnataka, even if your mother tongue isn't Kannada. The other 15% of the seats is reserved under the All India Quota Seats. You haven't mentioned your rank so I wouldn't be able to guide you with the colleges that you can get into for MBBS or BDS courses.
