No, you can do not need to send any mail request to the Gate Zonal office for change in Gender during the correction time. Application correction will get started from 4 th week of October 2019. Corrections can be done in Name, DOB, Details of Parents/Guardian, Correspondence address & Qualifying degree Details.  You will have to login to your application. After login you can find  Change Personal Data  option and you can make your changes there. But you will have to pay the correction fee.
