Guessing you have studied maths,

Yes having passed 12th in 2021, you are eligible for jee main 2022 and also eligible for jee main 2023. It does matter even if you didn't attempt jee main 2021

This is because,

One is eligible for jee main for 3 consecutive years starting from 12th appearing year .

For your reference,

Jee main eligibility criteria is given below-

---------------------------) Qualification required :- to be eligible  for JEE mains you need 10+2/equivalent qualification from a recognised board.

-------------------------) Passing year :- one is eligible for JEE main examination for consecutive three years starting from the year of appearing for 12th /equivalent examination i. e to be eligible  for JEE mains 2022 you should be either appearing for 12th board exam or equivalent in 2022 or should have passed it in 2021 or 2020

-------------------------) There is no age limit to be eligible

-------------------------) there is no minimum percentage requirement to be eligible for JEE Main for BE /Btech.

But yes,

To be eligible for BE/BTech  in NITs, IIITs, CFTIs one needs at least 75% marks in class 12th if belongs to General or OBC category  or at least 65% marks in class 12th if belongs to Sc or St category or needs to be in top 20 percentile of their board examination.

IMPORTANT NOTE :-  This minimum percentage barrier of 75 % - 65% for NITs, IIITs, CFTIs  has been lifted off for jee main 2022 . It means to be eligible all you need to be eligible is to have at least passed 12th .

Jee main 2022 application form has been released by NTA on its official website i. e jeemain. nta . nic . in on 1st march 2022 , the last date for filling the form is 31st March 2022 upto 5 pm for April session.

You can fill the jee mains application form  in online mode following  the given below steps -

----------) registration :- first of all visit the official website of jee mains i. e jeemain. nta . nic . in  then you need to register using your name, mobile number  and email id to generate your login credentials

----------) then fill your details in the application form :- you need to fill details like your personal details, parents details, your academic details .

----------) and after that you need to  go for uploading your following documents

You need to upload following:-

• Your passport size Photograph,

• Signature,

• Category Certificate (if applicable i. e for ews, obc, sc, st ):- Issued on or after 1st january 2022. If you don't have obc/ews certificate right now then you can upload self declaration form for now.

• PwD Certificate ( if you are a pwd candidate)

----------) then pay the application fee

• Application fee for  male indian candidates of general, obc, ews category:- 650

• Application fee for indian candidates for sc, st, and female candidates of all categories- 325

----------) Take a printout of the confirmation page.

This year only 2 sessions of jee main 2022 i. e

• April session:- From 16th April to 21st April 2022

• May session:- it will be conducted from 24th to 29th May 2022 :- Its application window will open on 8th April 2022 and last date to fill it is 3rd May 2022 till 5pm

Only applicants who completed the Class 12/equivalent exam in 2020, 2021, or who are taking the Class 12/equivalent exam in 2022 are eligible to participate in JEE (Main) - 2022.

There are no age restrictions.

Candidates are eligible to sit for the JEE Main exam for three years in a row.

For B.Tech/ B.E, following subjects are mandatory-

Mathematics

One of these subjects (Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational Subject)

For B.Arch, below mentioned subject are mandatory-
