Hello Anita!

Birth certificate in what?

Wherever there is need for date of birth proof of your father you are supposed to submit his 10th marksheet. It is also valid for showing birth proof. There's no need of finding birth certificate.

But even if you have been asked for Birth certificate of your father, please mention in the comment box, where you are required to submit that?

But school certificate is also valid as age proof for EWS certificate. Have you asked the certificate provider regarding school certificate? If yes then it would be fine otherwise your father will have to submit an affidavit from court. But don't worry, school certificate will be valid. The affidavit is just a backup option. You first ask your certificate provider regarding the school certificate.You can comment back further if there is other trouble with this case. All the best!

If that is the case then ask the certificate provider that whether you can submit a court affidavit or not. In that your father have to take an oath that he is born in Maharashtra.It is not a long process and you may get the affidavit done in instantly. Ask for affidavit once.
