Hello Nithiya,

First of all I am pusuing my B.tech CSE from galgotias college of engineering & technology and I also like you was not having computer as a subject in 12th. Moreover 75% students in my class didn't had computer as a subject in 12th and we are not having any problems. It is not necessary to have computer as a subject in class 12th to pursue computer science, you just have to work hard after taking CS. Also if you feel uncomfortable or you feel like no cs is not for you then you can change your branch after first year as in first year every branch have the same syllabus.

Hope this helps!!

Good luck!!

Dear student, Of course a big yes!, It will be really great when you start exploring computer science. It isnt weird for a biology student to choose computer science. Computer science isnt something only about programming language, may be a lot of suggestions you get would be that you would find difficult to code. Common man!!

You have got four years to improve yourself in coding and thats more than enough.

Computer science deals with solving the real world problems you find difficult to do manually without technology and also making it much simpler and easier. But the important thing that I should say is that you should know a lot of Math stuffs and it makes you unique among programmers. Whatever algorithm you implement the one thing thats common among everything is math. So try to fully understand the basic concepts of logic related mathematics such as : (Discrete math, Probability, Set theory ,some algebra , calculus ) and thats what programming is all about. thenewboston (https://www.youtube.com/user/thenewboston) is a popular youtube channel that helps you understand basic fundamentals of coding or you can chose courses from UDEMY to learn basic coding. Finally your perseverance and interest matters a lot. Stay motivated and dont compare yourself with others, Your path is entirely different from that of others.

All the best

Hope this helps
