NDA is a national level exam for entry into the defense forces. It is highly competitive and so requires smart preparation, clear concepts and thorough knowledge in General Ability.

Firstly, start by brushing up your mathematical fundas of 12th standard. Questions asked have medium to high difficulty level and so require proficiency in 12th level mathematics. Practice R.D Sharma to complement your NDA prep.

Next, English covers topics of vocabulary, grammar, comprehension where they basically test your command over the language.Reading newspapers and magazines helps to increase your reading speed, you can use Flash cards to increase Vocab.

General Knowledge covers vast areas of History, Polity, Geography, current affairs, General Science. Be aware of the latest developments in the field of arts, sports, literature. You can pick up Lucents GK for this ; it covers most of these areas in depth.

Lastly practice previous years question paper so you get a fair knowledge of what to expect.
