Hello Nikhil,
All India Pre-veterinary Test(AIPVT) has been scrapped  and now the admission to 47 Government Veterinary Colleges will be through merit in NEET (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test) so you need to appear in that.
After that you can apply for :
  1. 15% all India Quota seats (Except Jammu and Kashmir)
  2. 85% State Quota seats
  3. Private Veterinary colleges.

For more information you may go through this page and feel free to ask for any doubts :

All the Best!

Hello aspirant

To become a veterinarian, you can apply for bachelors of veterinary sciences after class 12th. The basic eligibility criteria is pcb in 10+2.

To apply to this course, you have to appear for the various entrance exams conducted by the university such as AIPVT, MHTCET, KEAM, CENTAC, etc.

After this you can either start practicing or go for masters as per your interest.

Hope this helps
