Hello aspirant,

If you want to become an IAS officer then you can follow the steps that are mentioned here, first you have to study 10+2 with any specialisation, depending on your interest. For a bachelor's degree programme, you can opt for any degree programme, such as BA , B.Sc , B.Com or B.Tech and then start preparing for the UPSC Civil Services Exam. UPSC Civil Services Exam has multiple rounds, such as prelims, mains and interview round. After clearing the interview, you have to go for the training programme at Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie.

  • Meeting the eligibility criteria and apply for the UPSC Civil Services Exam

  • Clearing the preliminary examination

  • Fill out the UPSC DAF (Detailed Application Form) for the Mains examination

  • Clearing the Mains examination

  • Appearing for the final interview round

  • Need to attend the IAS Training at LBSNAA

Regarding your future career, I greatly appreciate your time thinking. It is excellent to have aspirations of becoming an IAS. Focus more on the % in 12th PCM now that you are in the 12th Science stream. You can carry on with the Science stream after your 12th grade by selecting a course that you find interesting and appealing.

Minimum graduation requirements apply to IAS. Even doctors, engineers, and MBAs pass the IAS exam. Once you are in your first year of graduate studies, you can enroll in a reputable coaching center for IAS preparation like Pragnya IAS Academy . You will undoubtedly pass the IAS exam if you prepare for three years with expert advice.

Aspirants to the civil service undergo two years of training. A student must have great zeal and perseverance to do this. It is regarded as one of the most difficult exams. At the beginning of their preparation, applicants are unfamiliar with the UPSC Exam structure and syllabus. Here, the potential student may think about enrolling in the foundational course offered by the coaching facility.

You can learn the fundamentals regarding the Preliminary, Mains, and Interview through the YouTube channels. However, when concept understanding is a concern, candidates may think about getting coaching to help them.

You can get the necessary advice from a reputable or well-established coaching centre to pass the IAS exam. These days, coaching centres are focusing on filling a gap by giving applicants the correct and essential instruction on the exam, its most recent IAS pattern, marking scheme, exam resolution tactics, etc. Such feedback is crucial and aids candidates in achieving the best results from their in-person work.

You can pursue your graduation in the science stream since you are currently enrolled in it. As a result, there are no particular subject requirements for these exams. Please take note that the civil service exam features one subject-related question where a solid understanding of the subject is required. The question is typical of an objective nature.

In that case, you could select a science-related subject. Be aware that while studying for the tests, you could pick up another topic like history or political science. Students have claimed that they find some subjects easier. Check the UPSC website, and if you can, talk to people who are taking the exam to get this answered. You should also join an IAS Coaching Institute like Pragnya IAS Academy.

Students must provide their full attention and effort to the IAS exam. In order to maintain students' interest in the exam preparation module, a competent IAS coaching center employs captivating tactics. The preliminary, main, and interview rounds make up the three segments of the IAS test. The instructors at top IAS preparation centers work methodically through the whole exam curriculum because each section is crucial to passing the exam. Professional instructors at the top IAS coaching facilities can also assist candidates with addressing their specific preparation requirements in order to accommodate their study schedules.

With years of experience, the instructors of IAS institutes can determine the most effective strategies for finishing the majority of the syllabus on time. Here, students will have the chance to become familiar with quick tips that will enable them to rapidly complete the exam syllabus, freeing up more time for testing and development. Professional IAS institutes provide study materials that are simple to understand and useful for the preparation process.

Even if you still have plenty of time to prepare, I would still advise developing a practice of reading and engaging in conversation on those subjects. Make your argument clear without engaging in debate. Being clever is also crucial.

As far as the answer to this question is concerned, I would suggest that you can do an introductory graduation course like B.Sc. The reason for choosing a simple graduation degree course is that you will also be devoting a lot of your time to preparing for IAS.

If IAS is your ultimate goal, Btech is a bad mix. IAS requires a lot of effort and commitment. Btech and IAS cannot be given the same amount of time because they both require it. So if you truly believe that IAS is your primary objective, I would advise you to do it. Go for a pass course or pursue a BSC honors. and begin studying for the IAS. Achieve your goal by being focused, working hard, and being confident in yourself.

It is independent of the degree course you select. Your graduation subject or concept can only be used in an optional paper. Still, if it is an arts subject like economics, public administration, or advertising)political science may be able to provide you with some basic information for your GS essays.

As soon as you apply for your graduation degree, you can begin your preparation. You have a whole three years to get ready for the IAS. The key to passing an exam is having a thorough understanding of its method, material, and structure and the best way to prepare is by joining an IAS Coaching Institute like Pragnya IAS Academy that creates a roadmap for the student. Coaching institutions use specialized and individualized strategies to teach you interview skills that you cannot obtain by reading books or using online resources.

Given the size of the syllabus, careful planning is essential. Many applicants struggle to conclude their preparation for the UPSC Civil Services IAS Exam due to poor planning. Coaching programmes offer guidance on how to organize your studies so that you can finish the course material before the exam.
