5. B.A. specialization in Journalism and Mass Communication

Those wishing to enter news, advertising, or entertainment media can opt for journalism and mass communication.Students can pursue courses like BA in Journalism and Mass Communication, Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication, and Bachelor of Mass Communication.

INSTITUTES OFFERING:

Christ University (Bangalore), Loyola Institute of Business Administration (Tamil Nadu), Chitkara Univdersity (Punjab), Delhi University affiliated colleges such as Miranda House, Lady Sri Ram College, Hansraj College.


6) After completing your Bachelor's or professional degree you have the following options:

I) You may appear for BANKING exams for clerical or probationary officer post as these exams are a  better option for commerce graduates.

Ii) MBA entrance exams such as CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, SNAP is also a better option for you as maths is considered as an important subect for such papers.

Iii) Income tax exams for the post of Income tax Inspector or Income tax Officer after graduation.

Iv) Professional as a Budget Analyst  after pursuing masters in accounting. Developing budgets involve very strong analytical, numerical and accounting skills.

(V) If interested in civil services, you can prepare for IAS/IES exam.

1.B.COM- Bachelors in Commerce-

A course that most 12th Commerce stream students pursue after schooling as the level of academic difficulty associated with this course is Moderate and admission to this course is solely on the basis of your 12th board result.

FEE : The undergraduate degree is offered at a range of public and private colleges in India where some colleges also offer the option of selecting a subject to major in like Economics. The average fee charged in India varies from INR 20,000 to 35,000.

INSTITUTES OFFERING :

Delhi University affiliated colleges where admission cut off is usually not less than 96%, such as , Sri Ram College, Lady Sri Ram College, Hindu College, Ramjas College, Gargi College, (New Delhi). Others include St Xavier's College (Kolkata), Loyola College, Chennai, Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics (Mumbai), Christ University (Bangalore),SRM University (Chennai), Amity International Business School (Noida), Loyola College (Tamil Nadu) etc.


2.BA. LLB (Bachelor of Arts + Bachelor of Laws )

Entrance: CLAT -Common Law Admission Test

B.A.LL.B. is a dual degree professional course in administrative law. Bachelor of Arts + Bachelor of Laws [B.A.LL.B.] is a five year long course. Many institutes take admission on the basis of CLAT Exam or their own entrance exam for Integrated LL.B. Programme along with merit result in class 12th.
FEE is usually from Rs. 2 -4 Lacs aggregate for 5 years.

3.B.B.A. (Bachelor of Business Administration)

B.B.A. is a 3 years long Degree course. It includes all the forms of Management at undergraduate level which regardless of the specialization, will provide a student with conceptual, theoretical and practical knowledge in various aspects of business.

FEE: Varies from INR 1-2.5 Lacs aggregate for 3 years.
