Sir I was alloted with nifft ranchi, manufacture engineering. I would like to know what would be the scope of I joined that campus.
Hello,
National Institute of Foundry and Forge, Ranchi is a good option if you are interested in Manufacturing and metallurgy branch. The placement is good because of being a specific branch college. Companies like Bharat forge Limited, Essar Steels, ISPAT, etc. visit the campus frequently.
All The Best.

Scope of Manufacturing Engineering:
Students who have completed their B.Tech in Manufacturing Engineering can either opt for job or they can go for further studies. Students can enroll themselves for ME or M.Tech degree in Manufacturing Engineering.
The college has a state of the art mechanical workshop, excellent labs and a very large library containing various journals, periodicals, study materials, pioneer books on Production Technology (which I believe hardly any other Indian Institutes will be having. The college always engages lectures of Industry people, arranges the internship for students in top manufacturing companies etc. The natural beauty, the ambiance of my college, quality professors, friends and clinching of ones dream job from here are few of the things which makes college life enjoyable.
Also it's placement is good and package offered too.

The college has good ratings and reviews everywhere if you search for it. Average package will be a bit low as mass recruitment might be taking place. It might be around 3-4 Lakhs. But if you study properly, you can bag even 10LPA jobs in TATA Motors or similar big brands.
