The IPU CET is held at national level for admission into Bachelor’s of Business Administration offered by colleges affiliated to the IP University all over the INDIA.

The exam pattern of IPU CET BBA is devided into four parts :

• English Language & Comprehension
• General Awareness
• Logical and Analytical Ability
• Communication Aptitude

Now, let's have a look on the IPU CET Paper Pattern :

• The IPU CET is an offline i.e. pen and paper test. You will be provided with an OMR Sheet to answer the questions.
• The paper consists of 150 multiple choice questions to be answered.
• The duration of the exam is 150 minutes.
• The total marks of the IPU CET for BBA is 600.
• Negative marking is also there. So be careful while answering to the questions.
• Each correct answer fetches 4 marks while 1 mark will be deducted from your score for every wrong answer you mark.
• Each section consists of 37 or 38 questions to be answered by the candidate.

Now, i am listing you some of the important topics from each of the topic. Please go through these topics thoroughly to score well.

• English Language and Comprehension : This section will test the English proficiency of the aspirants. This section will contain 38 questions. So if you attempt 28-30 questions, you will score good in this section. One thing i would suggest you that please work properly on the vocabulary of your's as most of the questions are asked from it. Important topics on which you need to pay more attention are :

1. Vocabulary

2. Synonyms and Antonyms

3. English comprehension

4. Idioms and phrases

5. One word substitution

6. Sentence and Para jumbles

• Logical and analytical reasoning : This section will test the logical aptitude of the aspirants. This section will consist of 38 questions. If you attempt 32-34 questions in this section, you will have a pretty good score in this section. The important topics which you must go through are :

1. Finding patterns

2. Assessment of figures and diagrams

3. Coding-decoding

4. Clock and calendar

5. Cubes, Series, Syllogism, Statement and Conclusion

6. Statement and Assumption and Analogies.

• Management Aptitude and Communication skills : This section tests the management skills of aspirants. This section consists of 37 questions. So if you attempt 25 questions, you will score good marks in this section. The important topics that you need to go through are :

1. RBIs monetary policy

2. Business awareness, Liberalization, Globalization.

• General Awareness : This section will test the general knowledge of the aspirants. This section consists of 37 questions. To score well in this particular section, you will have to attempt about 25 questions. The important topics for this section are :

1. Current affairs

2. Business and Economics

3. History

4. Geography

5. Polity

6. Awards and Honors

7. Sports

• Practice numerical for Mathematics and Aptitude section everyday. At the end of the day, revise them properly.
• Practice English vocabulary, idioms and phrases and read newspapers so that you can come through new words and which will help you in gaining a sound knowledge of vocabulary.
• Practice the past year papers as much as you can. Because time management is the most important thing in these kind of exams, where they test your knowledge as well as time and speed management skills.
