Hello,

The problem that you face is a very common one. It is lack of concentration and getting distracted really fast and bored of studying.  It happens to all of us. So do not get depressed about it.

I understand it becomes really difficult to concentrate on your studies, specially during this time.

Below I will share some tips that will help you to concentrate better:

  • Find a time which is best suitable for you to study. Some find it better to concentrate in the morning while others find they can do better in the night.

  • Decide what portions you would like to finish in that particular day

  • Prepare a timetable according to the above, keeping slots for breaks

  • Start studying with your favorite subject, so that you don’t get bored from the beginning itself

  • Take breaks when you get bored, and try to avoid studying at a stretch for a longer duration.

  • Always keep some time apart for your hobbies, exercise, etc.

  • Eat healthy food, sleep well and also socialise. A healthy mind is the most important for good concentration

  • Do some mind games like Sudoku, Crossword puzzles, Chess, etc

  • Also try meditation

Following these I am sure you will be able to improve your concentration

Good Luck

Hello candidate,

It is a very common problem which many of the students face while preparing for their competitive examination, that is mind distraction and concentration diversion.

The best way to address search problems is to stay away from all electronic and diversion agents. For this, you must meditate for at least half an hour before you sit down for study. Try practicing this habit for at least a month and after that you will realise that you have boosted your concentration enough that you no longer have to face the problem of concentration loss.

Hope it helps!!
