NEET 2024: Cutoff (OBC, SC, ST & General Category)
NEET 2024 Admission Guidance: Personalised | Study Abroad
NEET 2025: Syllabus | Most Scoring concepts | NEET PYQ's (2015-24)
Which category do you belong to?
First of all, your overall % obtained by you in class 12th is not considered for Neet eligibility criteria , only your aggregate in PCB is taken in account for considering your eligibility.
Neet eligibility criteria says that, to be eligible one must have passed in English and in both the theory and practical of PCB i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology with at least 50 % in aggregate of PCB ( in theory +practical) in 12th examination if belong to general category , or at least 40% in aggregate of PCB if belongs to Obc/ Sc /st
So, if you get less than 50% ( if belongs to general) or less than 40% (if belongs to Obc/ Sc /st) in your aggregate in PCB then you becomes ineligible for Neet examination and thus you can't get admission in any medical college irrespective of the marks obtained by you in NEET examination , so it really doesn't matter how high you have scored in neet be it 600 marks or 700 marks you won't to be able to take admission in any medical college if you fail to satisfy the percentage requirement in PCB to be eligible for neet.
Thankyou
