Hello Aspirant,

Few days ago our Hon'ble HRD Minister Ram Pokhriyal Nishank has tweeted that there will be relaxation in board percentage for class 12th for admission to NITs.

They have removed the criteria of 75% as top 20 percentile of that respective board results but you have to compulsorily pass with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry for getting admission to NITs, so if you have failed in any of the three subjects then you will not be eligible for admission to NITs based on JEE-Main score even with the support of your reservation category.

I hope this information cleared your doubts.

Good Luck!!
