Hello,

CLAT offers five year integrated law program based on eligibility of 12th education and LLM is based on passed LLB degree/five year integrated law program. CLAT is not admission for LLB program.

In case, you want to pursue LLB after graduation, you can consider the following universities;

DU LLB conducted by Delhi University,
BHU UET by BHU,
LSAT scores are accepted by many reputed universities,
TS LAWCET, its scores are accepted by colleges & universities in Telangana.

Eligibility Criteria; Candidates needs to have passed Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university with 45% marks, for reserved category it's 40%. Universities like DU & BHU require minimum 50% marks while Universities Kurukshetra, Rohtak, Meerut require merely 45% marks in graduation.

Hello Aspirant,

CLAT is the National level exam for the admission to five years Integrated law program & post graduate LLM program.

You can apply for CLAT as there is no any age limit but If you are in final year then I would suggest you to go for three years LLB program.

Good Luck!

Hello mantasha,

Yes, you can surely give the clat exam.

Let me clear your doubt by telling you the eligibility criteria for clat exam-

  • To be eligible for CLAT, the candidates must have secured:
    (a) Forty five percent (45%) marks in Qualifying Exam (Class XII or equivalent) in case of candidates belonging to Unreserved /OBC /Specially Abled Persons (SAP) and other categories.
    (b) Forty Percent (40%) marks in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST categories.
  • The result of qualifying examination (i.e., 10+2) shall be submitted by the candidate at the time of admission failing which the candidate shall be ineligible for admission to the Course.

HOPE THIS WILL HELP YOU

GOOD LUCK
