NEET is a national level examination for admission in various medical colleges across India. The cut off for neet changes every year and depends upon the difficulty level of question paper as well as the number of students giving exam. With the increasing competition , the cut off as well the score for government colleges also increases every year. While observing the previous year's trend, it is almost impossible for you to get any government college with 500 or less than 500 marks , especially if you belongs to general category. But there hardly, can be chances in some states with 500 marks also. Above 500 marks, you can have chances to get any government college.

Ayushi, you havent mentioned the State and Category you belong to. This is important because each Category has a different cut off for a GMC at a State Counselling level and at All India level. And it is quite a broad question to answer. So please do help us with those details.
