Hello aspirant,
There may be a greater probability of you receiving a seat with the OBC and home state quota, it is extremely difficult to get with such a rank. Selecting a very low rank NIT core branch won't benefit you in any way. Therefore, I advise you to give preference to state engineering institutes. Some public engineering colleges are far superior to even moderately ranked NITs. Furthermore, I would advise you to participate in JoSAA and complete every round, even the spot round.
