Hi,

One thing to remember is that, IIT is an engineering college and there is no engineering college where you can skip math. In IITs, you will have to take math courses for 2 to 3 semesters. You can't skip it, it is a part of curriculum. And then once you diverge into you core branch, you still have to deal with math in some form or the other. Sorry to say, but if you want to go into IIT or study engineering, you will have to deal with maths. No escape!!

hi,

see it depends on which of the course of IITs you have interest for. for engineering domain like b.tech admission, the eligibility criteria is candidates must clear the jee advance test, candidates have to complete 10+2 course from a recognized education board with physics, chemistry, mathematics as a mandatory subject.
