Hi vipin

The basic eligibility criteria for joining MBA is that you should be minimum graduate. MBA is a masters degree hence to pursue it you need to complete your bachelors degree first which could be BE, BTech, BA, BCom, LLB etc.

A lot of state governments like govt of Andra Pradesh give scholarships and sponsor education for the economically backward classes. So you can write state level exams like EAMCET and avail for those scholarships and complete BE/BTech as bachelors degree.

Dear Vipin, the basic eligibility criteria to get into MBA is that you should have a Bachelor's degree. You didn't mention whether you have a Bachelor's degree or not. If you have a Bachelor's degree, then you write any Entrance Exam for MBA like CAT, CMAT, XAT, SNAP, etc. However if you don't have a Bachelor's degree, I would suggest you to pursue your Bachelor's first.

Dear Vipin, It is important to know that the admission criteria of each IIM is independent to mandate their own eligibility criteria including CAT score, academic cut-offs, past academic performance, relevant work experience etc. Some institutions need previous work experience while some do not. There are 20 IIMs in the country and each one of them has different admission criteria. All the IIMs usually follow a two-step selection process. First, short-listing on the basis of CAT score and then WAT and PI rounds for the short-listed students. Common Admission Test (CAT) and Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI). Candidates who fulfil the first stage of the admission criteria (CAT) are called for WAT and PI rounds. Different IIMs as per their admission criteria offer admissions to the selected students.
