PG: Those planning to pursue their masters in biomedical engineering need to have pursued their bachelor of engineering or bachelor of technology or equivalent in Biomedical or Medical Electronics or Electrical and Electronics or Electronics and Communication or Electronics and Telecommunication or Instrumentation Engineering.

You are in btech as you have mentioned that you are doing ECE and in 2nd year so there is no link of medical engineering from here.You have the option to drop this engineering and persue bio medical engineering.
